Gary Rascoe
Experience:
Gary Rascoe has over 25 years experience in lean business design and implementation in a wide range of businesses and processes. Gary’s expertise is in combining physical transformation processes with lean management systems and employee engagement to create a culture for driving and sustaining long term results. He has conducted over 1,000 week-long events as well as dedicated project work. He is especially sought after for his work in business process environments and being able to apply lean concepts to non-traditional applications. Gary has also served as a mentor/coach for over 125 participants of lean certification workshops and has been recognized as one of the most endorsed people on Linked In. Previous to his consulting career, Gary held several assignments at United Technologies Corporation including Manager of Organization Effectiveness for Otis North American Operations. He was also an Internal Lean Consultant for United Technologies where he worked closely with the Japanese shingijutsu consultants. He implemented world wide projects at each of the UTC divisions. Gary was also a trainer and workshop developer and was one of 17 worldwide participants in a full time, 10-month European based program on lean manufacturing and purchasing. Previous to UTC, Gary was an Industrial Relations Manager where he started his lean education by attending a workshop with Dr. Deming. Gary has an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.
